possibly. If he in fact did it and he was trying to take a small piece then its different IMO than someone trying to destroy it.
maybe the punishment shouldn't be different but I would definitely not be as angry. That's just me though.

No, give him whatever the punishment is. It doesn't matter which team he roots for. I just hope people leave the family out of it. It's between himself and the UNiversity not his family.

No. He should be punished as severely as possible no matter what team he pulls for. To go and damage a piece of property that has so much tradition and so much meaning to thousands of people is utterly disrespectful. If anything, it makes it worse that he is a tiger. The thought process is basically I like clemson so much and value the rock so much that I want a piece of it even though I know thousands of people value it too and will be upset by my actions. Pure selfishness. I have no feelings for the rock but it angers me that anyone would be that unconcerned with how their actions will affect other people, especially with something so sentimentally valuable to other people.
