bought pencils are ##### these days. They're just terrible. Gonna order a couple packs of the good stuff from Amazon so they can realize the joys of a premium pencil.

As I cracked this third IPA, I truthfully had no intention of going down a pencil comparison rat hole.
You can't find these anymore at all, and they were awesome as I recall.

like the softer lead with more of a waxier feel. I'm trying to get back to the harder stuff. I'm not even trying to not put it up on a tee at this point....I'm talking about the finer nuances of pencils for chrissake.

cursive. The notes I took in class were all block printed, and I write small anyway, so always having a sharp point was essential. I was a popular guy among people that wanted class notes (when I went to class) because you could actually read my notes.

The Garfield Pencil: This thing was about 1/2" in diameter. I suppose it was for small kids, but it was an absolute beast. Unbeatable at Pencil Fighting. The only drawback is that you had to sharpen it with a knife.
