watched the clip on my phone and I think he just turned around and watched the ball.

We were playing against a guy that ended up going to Florida and our coach told the pitcher to only throw off speed pitches to him. Out pitcher thought he was billy badarse and threw him a fastball right down the middle. That dude turned it around and hit it about 100 feet over the center field fence.

Unpopular take here, but that wasn't even a Beer Bomb in the traditional sense (from someone sitting a few yards from where it landed). I'd guess the distance at 350 ft max. Nothing like his 450 ft bombs over the batter's eye!
