"Ohio State was the stated leader for Carman for months, and he’ll return to Columbus for a two-day visit with the Buckeyes next weekend for their spring game. There’d been no reason to suspect their positioning in his recruitment was in jeopardy. Until that Clemson trip. How did the first conversation go with Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer after publicly changing his mind? If there’s an underlying reason for concern for Ohio State fans, what would it be?

“That first conversation wasn’t anything bad, or angry,” Carman said of the talk with Meyer. “Just some banter. I’m not sure that I want to stay close to home. The other reason (he would consider going somewhere other than Ohio State) would be that I just found a place I feel in love with more. It’s not like I don’t like Ohio State, but I feel like if Ohio State wasn’t in Ohio, I’d already be committed there. They can’t fight that.”"

No mention of living in SC, but it does sound like the bug has been planted!

Either his dad or uncle lives in Charleston. I'm not sure which one it is though.
