that is mostly negative on Jayron Kearse. We get a guy that is rated as a 4 star recruit by all the major recruiting services and all they can do is put him down. STS want nothing more than to see Clemson fail. Clemson picks up another 4 star recruit and they find a way to spin it negatively. What a bunch of dbags.

I don't like Dr. B's negativity over there. But calling them "idiots" doesn't mean you know football any better than they do.
I just read the article this morning. They said that IF Blanks puts on a good bit of weight, he'll be better suited to safety. If not, he'll be better suited to cornerback.
Lol...there's nothing "ignorant" about that. It's just clear you don't like the site.

Exactly.
I think this is the same guy has complained about STS plenty of times before.
I go there because it's the only place on the Internet with in-depth breakdowns of Clemson's scheme.
But if it made me have a conniption every time the name came up...I would probably avoid it.

Just a few people that question is coaching ability, given his lack of experience.
He's one of, if not THE best recruiter in the country. That's not in doubt.
He's also made the types of decisions that leaders make, tough decisions.
But, he's made those decisions b/c of the mistake he made the first time around (Napier/Steele hires) AND, we have inexplicable losses to NC State, Ga Tech, and WVU.
With the talent Dabo has/is getting, 10-4 or 11-3 won't cut it.

I love the ACC title.
But it tarnishes the season knowing that there are 4 games where your team didn't even show up to play. It's disheartening. And with the talent we have, that shouldn't happen.
I'm not saying to fire Dabo or anything. He's earned the right to coach this team beyond this year. But it can't keep happening.

Whatever you say. I'm not a fan of getting run off the field when I drive to Atlanta, Columbia and Raleigh. I at least expect a ball game.
11-3 is great if the three losses are close.

I think GT and NCSU punched us in the face early, and possibly more importantly we turned the ball over. These are FAR from slouch teams, and they're capable of beating anyone, especially if the opponent turns the ball over.
We absolutely showed up to play against USC and WV. We hung with both teams until the opposing offenses ran away with it. Turnovers against WV were again a major culprit.
All in all, it ABSURD to think we have some sort of all-world talent that should be able to just line up and whip everyone. We were playing more true and redshirt freshmen than anyone in the country, we had a green QB in a brand new, completely different offensive system. Even teams with far batter talent and depth lose some games "they were supposed to win", so considering the above points it's not surprising we also lost some games. It won't be the last time either.
Granted, I want us to eliminate weaknesses, play more physical, and more consistently, but some of you guys need to come back down to earth.

When you have zero sources inside the Clemson athletic department, then claim to have inside knowledge, then yes you are an idiot. When you want to get rid of purple as one of Clemson's colors, when it has been a color used 100 years by Clemson, then yes you are an idiot.

Sorry If I offended your love for STS, but the fact is they are idiots. They have no clue about football. All they do is cut and paste from other websites on the internet. Their contributors at STS have never played college football or coached football at any level. They are not journalists. There just some fools with a blog. STS and SBnation is no different than bleacher report.

a safety. There is a big difference between a safety and a corner. Educate yourself on football, before the next time you try to make a point.

Who said he was a rover?
He lined up in the nickel position for most of the spring game (3 yards off the LOS).
I agree he'll play a hybrid linebacker role. But you can't act like it's crazy to call in a CB when that's where he's lined up.
Lining up in the nickel slot on the offense's #3 receiver is a CB. Especially when there are 2 other safeties on the field. I don't care what you call it.
Quit nitpicking.
