Not sure what happened to him, but it seems we aren't hearing much from him and it seems he has fell to 4th string? What happened?? In my opinion i'm guessing he just lost confidence not being able to follow up his freshman season. Thoughts?

I think he's injured at the moment.

But, I've never really thought DJ had the chops to play RB. He just doesn't seem to have that wow factor. I would have liked to have seen what he would do at DB, but I think he was promised the chance to play RB instead of being recruited only as a DB.

He had ankle surgery (scope?) recently. He will be back and will compete for PT.

Probably not for the UGA game (JMO).

It's my opinion you should get facts before asking on here - someone else's "opinion" is no better than yours. He will be fine and play well (just my opinion though).

If i knew he was injured i probably would have never posted this. I'm not on Tnet everyday so i didn't know he had been injured. That changes my opinion a lot, just thought it was weird we wasn't hearing about DJ..Now i know why

Injury plus lack of pure talent have buried him on thee depth chart. Look for him to transfer very soon after the season.

He doesn't run with a lean at all runs stright up. He lacks talent for a rb may be better as a bd but a rb he is not.

Clemson needs elite speed/strength at RB if best is the standard.
Hopefully, Howard and the other RBs can do the job required of the position. If not, then I hope/trust the coaching staff will recruit players with elite speed/strength that can get the job done.
