Update: 6:09p. Not surprisingly, Ebenezer Ogundeko chooses Clemson tonight in St. Pete. No matter how many bowl games SU wins, how much progress it’s made since the Groobers Error, going head-to-head with a perennial contender like the Tigers is incredibly difficult. You’re battling weather, facilities, attention, prestige, and BCS bowls. At its heart, SU is a basketball school. Clemson is a football one.

A simple Google map check would have shown you that Syracuse is 252 miles from Brooklyn while Clemson is 759 miles from Brooklyn.Not closer, but not too far away.

You could flip that around and say that about our basketball program, but what a **** attitude to have. Your basically giving up.

Your right about your facilities. So why not start working on upgrading them. There is nothing you can do to help your geographical location, but you can build your brand by building those facilities. Oregon sucked for life in football until they started making things happen (by kissing Phil Knight's butt). Go find your guy. Go find a couple of them.

Your in the ACC now. Your budget will be higher. Spend the money on your football program. Build your brand. Stop making excuses.

now that they will be in the ACC. They always used to be a very physical football team and I expect them to be so again in the near future. A road trip to the Cuse will not be fun.
