VERY EVIDENT THAT HE IS STRUGGLING BUT HE DOES HAVE A 6-1 RECORD SO HE HAS PITCHED WELL AT SOME POINT. HE HAS GREAT STUFF AND WE WILL NEED HIM AT SOME POINT. HOPEFULLY HE WILL SNAP OUT OF HIS FUNK. YESTERDAY WAS A PERFECT SPOT TO PUT HIM IN WITH THE BIG LEAD. HE WAS NOT MISSING BADLY AND I THOUGHT HE GOT SQUEEZED ON SEVERAL CALLS.

W/L records can be misleading for relievers. Just last week Marr got the W in a game he pitched 1 inning and walked 2 batters but got out of it. Then Byrd walked off the bottom of the inning. He gets the W but didn’t look very sharp

I’m not taking sides in this argument but this was just an example of how W/L records can be misleading for relief pitchers
