OK, OK, I get it that the friend wore a Gamecock shirt, and believe me, I'm glad that he wasn't wearing a Clemson shirt . . .
But, the friend's shirt doesn't make us better than the Cluckers. We may have plenty of reasons to be glad that we are not Cluckers, but Roof's friend isn't one of them. Anyone can put on a shirt. That shirt doesn't define Roof, this state, or who we are.
Now is the time to come together. We have that circled date in November to look forward to, but don't start feeling superior because of his stupid shirt. Don't take the bait on that one.
