He was able to catch Miss Universe, Shawn Weatherly for awhile. That was an impressive catch. Did not realize he did not catch that many, however, it was a different era. We ran the ball 8 out of 10 times probably then.

Granted he played before my time and in a different era of college football, but he only had 33 receptions for 571 yards in his entire Clemson career.
He was a great NFL receiver, but that's not the criteria here.

That may be so, but do not forget that he made two catches on the drive that set up ''The Catch". He caught pro scouts eye when he caught for try outs for Steve Fuller.
