I would be embarrassed to think my star qb would play gimpy to throw off the opposition. That said, I'll give the benefit of the doubt that Fields is playing hurt.
But as my esteemed colleague said, "It won't matter!" ?? ??

I have had surgery multiple times on both knees. What I see is how I felt during recovery from each surgery - he is lifting the leg with the brace higher than normal before kicking the leg forward. For me, I used the same technique because my normal walking motion hurt too much.

They will be able to dull his pain with injections, but the grinding in the joint caused me as much mental discomfort as physical pain.

Maybe he is 110% as their coach says, but the video looks otherwise.

Also, if these guys are posting “fake limp” videos to throw off the Clemson team, they have reached a new level of paranoia. You play like you practice. If he wears a heavy brace in practice as a decoy, it could affect his game play negatively.

I wouldn't read too much into that video. Fields is in slow "practice mode" where he's being very careful not to aggravate anything.

He definitely won't run like that during the game.
