was at top of the hill like 10 rows deep so it is possible. There were a ton of people standing around with no seats.

We reported 86,092, but likely closer to 95,000 made it in..

That was when we still hand counted tickets. Plenty of extra tickets were made and several were never taken. I know, b/c I was a student at the time and the ushers were waiving us through in bunches that night without taking any of our ticket stubs. If I looked I think I still have my entire ticket.
If I remember correctly, we had to pay 10k for every 1,000 we went over capacity back then.
I remember people in the trees and on the fence on the backside of the hill that night. What a scene!!
