Chances of Etienne returning next year

Every mock draft I’ve seen has him late second or 3rd round. Chance he returns next year?

My guess....... the same chance I still have on that powerball ticket I had for last night. But I’ve been wrong a lotta times before.

I don’t think he will. He has nothing left to prove.

Especially if he wins a 2nd NC. I doubt his stock will improve because he stays a year. He is what he is at this point. I’d like to think that if he goes to the combine that he will turn some heads and go higher. Especially for a rb, his clock is ticking and he likely should go. Will miss him though.

I haven’t seen many mock drafts, but wow he would be a steal in the 3rd round! I can’t imagine that he’s going to be there any past late 1st/early 2nd round, and that would only be because rb is not generally considered the most important position in the nfl. He’s going to be a good one in the NFL though for sure.

1st rounder and RB have short NFL shelf life. Kid needs to take money and go. Good luck to him. Sure will miss him though

I dont expect any rb's in the 1st round. With that being said that would mean he couldn't improve his stock. The RB value is not the same as it used to be. He needs to go. It's the best shot for him. Hes healthy and has shown that he can stay healthy. Take the money!!

agreed, very rare for a 1st round rb to have value in today's nfl. You need to be Barkley or McCaffrey otherwise it's how the system uses you. And even those guys aren't sniffing the playoffs

He gone.

There is no benefit to ETN for staying another year. He has nothing more to prove in college.

I think we'll be just fine at the RB position in 2020.

I heard a discussion on one of the sports radio stations (forget which one) that said ETN was not in the 1st round now but depending on the Combine, he could move up to late 1st round. For now they had him projected early to mid 2nd round.

I am going to disagree with everyone here. I think there is a very reasonable chance that he stays. He really likes being a part of this program and he still has some work to do in pass catching and pass protection. Unless someone indicates that they want him in the first or high second round, I think he might stay and win another Natty.

Playing the RB position puts alot of wear and tear on your body. I can guarantee that no starting RB is 100% healthy after probably the 4th game of the season, especially in the NFL. There really is no reason for him to come back unless he just wants to put up more career rushing yards/TDs. He's gone so enjoy watching him these last few games

ETN has as much a chance to stay as Spiller did.
