Why coach Cheese left? I mean, he did allll this recruiting for us and brought in some pretty good players and then he jus suddenly leaves Clemson? I dont get it If I was a commit i'll be pretty mad that he left Because he promised them a lot and he just leave, now he's not even gonna have a chance to coach them. Now to the other part, he went Auburn, a team thats gonna be struggling next year.. I just dont get it. Coach Cheese was never a Clemson man if he just suddenly leaves.

Coaches are not fans they are coaches. To most of them it is just a job and sometimes the grass is greener on the other side. Money, family and friendships have a lot to do with it also.

that the Clemson coaches weren't exactly thrilled with his job performance this year. I don't believe he would have been fired. He has a pretty good reputation. I think we just mis-evaluated on talent at those positions. I think it has more to do with friendships and loyalties. Pure speculation on my part and anyone else on here though.

He has had 8 or 9 jobs in the last 20 years. He is a good recruiter but his performance has not been stellar as a coach.
