Reality is it's to get to the coaching carousel first. Doesn't always work as the Coots proved it by getting their 5th choice coach after Spurrier left mid season. Still it's good not to have to get in line as the firing time of the season is close.

No idea who's even available.

Taggart is suffering for Jimbo's sins, with that said he should have looked at that roster or ask himself why the heII is Jimbo trying to get out of town faster than a mafia informant.

The new early signing period makes early firings necessary so new coaches can try to recruit some good player before they are all gone.

seen. Their talent was better than the result they put on the field.

Insane penalties. Horrible discipline. Random coaching decisions. Coach seemed aloof often.

I can't blame them. Recruits could see he was going to get fired eventually. Get it over with now and move on.

Nothing bush league about it. They made a huge mistake hiring him and it was time to cut bait. Taggart admitted after the game his team did not play hard. He self immolated himself.

FSU's administration could have watched Taggart and the team burn like a bonfire the rest of the season or they could act now and look towards the future.

Arkansas' football program is so pathetic they may as well wait. They don't have the expectations or the recruiting base like FSU so there is no harm in letting Chad Morris finish out the season.

I don't know about that. If the players that Jimbo brought in didn't play hard because they weren't winning, maybe that's on them, not Willie. They should still be playing hard to get to the next level for their future. I don't see how any coach could win with guy's that give up when they don't win.
