His original commitment date was July 17th so this could be it. Also a possibility it's a new 'top group'.
My gut says Longhorn but Clemson is a dark horse here. Him and J Ross are easily the best two receivers on our board so here's hoping for good news

And ross. I say 2 bc I can see kendricks moving to maybe safety since we missed on a few guys there this cycle and we can bring in 2 top notch wr as well and Kendrick could move back to wr if he wanted.

DHood Had some positive things to say after speaking to Eagles in Oregon from what I remember; I'm not sure how realistic our chances of beating out TX are here though

Texas insiders have been cautious with Eagles because of his connection with Lawrence. They think he'll commit to Texas in the end, but him and Trevor have formed a good enough relationship that they think we are serious contenders. I would love to land Eagles. The only other WR I'd like more is Jordyn Adams, but we'll have to see if Fedora gets hired away at the end of the season and maybe we can flip him.
Also, Texas is for sure DBU, and that's the position group they will go to battle over, not WRU.

I wouldn't say Texas is DBU. I think LSU has that right now as far as putting guys in the league, maybe even Florida or Ohio state

Agreed at the moment, but before Mack Brown gave up and stopped trying, Texas was known for their DBs. Earl Thomas, Quentin Jammer, Kenny Vaccaro, Aaron Williams to name a few.
I guess my point was mainly that if someone was talking about Texas, they would likely put DBU or RBU

Definitely not #WRU. Perhaps we should all quit reading between the lines at times (#WRU, Zamir's steering wheel, who didn't show at the Cookout, for example) and just wait and let the coaches bring them in. You win some, you lose some.....even Saban and Urban.

Tom Herman better have a heck of a season down there if he wants to hold onto all of these 5-stars. He's selling them on "the revolution" of Texas Football.. Another stinker mediocre season again in Austin and that's not looking so appealing anymore
