2014 CFB Playoff: 3 one-loss teams and 1 undefeated team (FSU)

2015 CFB Playoff: 3 one-loss teams and 1 undefeated team (Clemson)

2016 CFB Playoff: 3 one-loss teams and 1 undefeated team (Alabama)

2017 CFB Playoff: 4 one-loss teams


So far, there are only 8 undefeated p5 teams left, and 11 total FBS Teams:
SEC...
Alabama
UGA

ACC...
Clemson
NC St

Independent...
Notre Dame

Big10...
Ohio State

Big12...
W. Virginia

Pac12...
Colorado

(Non p5 teams...)
USF
UCF
Cincy


Chances are, all of these teams, minus 1, will lose a game.

Exactly. Every year this time people go crazy talking about “what if all these teams win out...”.

And it never happens. Sorts itself out in the end. The only controversy come selection Sunday will be choosing between 1-loss teams.

And undefeated Clemson is in. Only difference this year may be that we would have a harder time getting in with one loss. So, let’s just not lose so we can be the first ever 15-0 team.
