It wasn't Boyd getting booed is was the whole freaking team and coaches. Horrible 1st half. Since we're on the subject I always disagree with booing young kids especially at home.

I would hope no fans were booing Tajh. Maybe boo the preperation or the performance, but I know many a Clemson fan that wanted him in the offense as the starter midway through last season.

I think him not getting any starts last year

probably benefitted him this year! He was more raw and able to learn the new offense how Morris needed him to. It would have been tougher to try and convert him if he had been more involved in the games last year. Just my opinion, but everything happens for a reason! I'm not going to lie, 8-0 feels pretty awesome! I feel this is just the tip of the iceberg though!

Good article, but I don't know many people who wanted him to leave. My only frustration was the coaches not giving him more of a chance LAST year. You can't expect a QB to come in and be lights out immediately.

I've never understood "Booing" your own team...it's kind of

like booing your own kids...I guess, for me at least, booing a Clemson Team would be no less than booing my flesh-and-blood son/daughter when he's playing baseball/football or she's performing gymnastics...If you're not happy, feel free to send TDP an email, but when they're on the field, they need YOUR support, they can't understand you're booing the coaches...
You could also compare it to "woo hooing"...

I didn't boo...probably b/c I was too frustrated at the time
Oct 28, 2011, 11:12 AM

but did know who they were aimed at...taking a knee to go in at the half down, when around mid field?
What gets me is TDP and the coaches still complaining about the fans booing the players...they should know who was getting booed

Booing any Tiger player, team, or a coach, should never be an option, NEVER. Talking about how some are still talking about the booing, I'm still pissed about it. Remember this before you ever boooo our team. Our team will NEVER try and lose a game. So when you are booing them, you are booing a team tring to win....

about not booing, I just don't see why it's still such a big deal...to me it has turned into a dead horse that so many people are still kicking
Like I said I didn't boo but...

Just because you are booing the coaches/decision or whatever, doesn't mean people cant take it the wrong way.

Nice article. But I doubt even the booers (shame on you,

by the way) were looking to run Boyd out of town as the article implies....

Boos at the end of the 1st half of the Troy game were NOT

for Tahj. The booing was clearly directed at the coaching staff in response for its decision to let the half expire. That said, booing should be reserved for the officials...

The booing was the poor decision to run out the clock and hit the lockerroom when we were down to an inferior team. I can't believe the media didn't get that.

Dabo was still calling the plays in the 1st half. After

hearing the booing he turned it over to Morris for the second half to let him take the heat in the post game interview after a loss. It has not turned out that way and won't this year.
