Which reminds me of ‘my’ Otis Nixon story.
A friend of mine was/is an investment lawyer in Atlanta, and was at a function at Otis Nixon’s home. They were in Otis’ office talking, and my friend (somewhat shyly - and embarrassed because he felt he was ‘betraying a professional courtesy’) had asked him if he could have an autograph. When Nixon agreed, my friend pulled out a receipt of some sort - credit card I believe - from his pocket and had him sign the back of it. About then, some of the other people came in, and when they saw that Otis had signed the autograph, they, too, asked for one, as well. Otis graciously and quickly agreed, and went to a cabinet where he pulled out hats, balls, and photos, which he signed and gave to the OTHER folks. My buddy said he felt embarrassed (again) to ask for an additional item, so he didn’t get anything ‘nice’ signed. However, the look on his face and his demeanor telling the story of how he had Otis Nixon’s autograph on a crumpled piece of paper, and all the other people had really nice baseball items signed, was hilarious.

or is too slow . . . either way he fails to square up a bounced pitch . . . he's slow and doesn't get his whole body in front of the ball . . . many of his past balls bounce off the arms or outside of his body . . . he has always struggled with blocking low pitches

Yep, that’s what I meant. Even more relaxing for our Tigers! I sorta equate a run to a TD.... that being the case, I could live with a 63-28 W... with freshman in the fourth!
