It's way too subjective with the foul calling. I sometimes wish Clemson didn't have a team so I wouldn't need to watch.

some days and then calling every little thing another day is like that. It's infuriating.

Agree...the interpretation of a "foul" has almost ruined it.

Over the years, to permit the acrobatics that we see, they have permitted traveling (shuffling feet, etc.) and carrying. And it isn't even close to being "legal" compared to what used to be enforced.

And there used to not be this phantom, ticky tacky type of foul situation.

Thing is, the fouls are at the discretion of the refs. But the refs won't call traveling or carrying since the elite teams must do it to be elite.

It's not basketball that's annoying. It's the inconsistency of officiating in basketball that's the problem.
