Our crappy B-ball team made Coot Nation happy

[1]

That really sucks because now they are talking, if they win in baseball it will take all the football hurt away. I just hate them having anything to be happy about.

Same people saying that

Are the ones saying none of it mattered last year. These schools are about football. Wins in other sports may help now, but only for a short time.

"We won the game that mattered." And, the coots know it.

At this point, any coot bball win does nothing for them after the football game. This is the diff between fanbases. Even after we clocked in bball last year, WE as a fanbase didn't care that much, we still had the football loss hanging over our heads. They still hurt from it, just trying to get I'm their digs where they can cause that's what they do.

Yeah, the NCAA basketball tournament/championship and College World Series are very minor sporting events with hardly no following at all. Who would watch or have any interest in basketball or baseball on the collegiate level anyway? Hey, we have one football win against our arch rival in the past 6 years. That is what is important and makes us superior. To #### with the coots; none of their success counts unless we say so!

I'd be happy if we lost every game to y'all in basketball and baseball as long as we win in football.

How do you not have a 100% pulse with only 5 posts? Looks like you'll get your wish this year.

How do you only have a 49% pulse with 464 posts?

Haha...Clem had lost 5 in a row. 5 outta 6 aint bad. Thats why it felt like the bball beatdown put Carolina back on track.

History in football fits the tigers agenda.... except for that fluke 5 years. Even during those years clemson football was accomplishing things carolina can't. Like winning conference championships and bcs bowls

Not a fluke that you won the games

just that Scar football was that good. You caught lightning in a bottle with some of the best players ever from south carolina falling in your lap when you happened to have the best coach in the history of your program. If ya'll break off another streak of 11 win seasons while beating us then I'll say it wasn't a fluke, but right now it's looking a whole lot like a fluke.

You really, really don't want to talk history.

The college baseball World Series is extremely minor. What percentage of the US population could name last year's winner (6 months ago)? I'll go with 8%.

The nice thing about the Basketball Tournament is you can lose and still get in the tournament.

Truthfully, the percentage is probably about the same as who could name the NCAA basketball or football championship 2 years ago. A great rivalry, regardless of sport means a lot to rival fans; not much to anyone else.

Actually, those are both easy. Louisville won two years ago in basketball, and Bama in football.

College basketball is one of the most marketable college athletic events around. I'd say March madness gets people watching who typically wouldn't due to the brackets and contests. A bit of an ignorant comment
