nastiest, most vicious fans? At the same time, I get the impression that a lot of them are fans just because they think "it's the thing to do" or their boyfriends/husbands are. The type that couldn't name more than half a dozen starters on the offense and defense combined and that think that the coot football players are made up of nothing but "good kids".

At least 75% of the women coots can only name two coot player names, and that is Shaw and the Clown. Those are the hard core fans. The rest only know them as gamecocks.

Absolutely! I've always found this to be the case. Only I don't think they can name that many players. Heck, I'm not sure they can spell gamecocks, that's why they leave game off.
