An nonbias ranking would be nice folks.

LSU and Mich St are move up for other teams in their conferences once the lose.

TCU is, IMO, amother, AS well AS Ohio St has done nothing this year to continue to be ranked #1.

Utah's big win has been diminished as well.

Best true win in the Top 5 is Clemson's win over ND, period and still no true ranking upon that.

I know, I know; win and be there but that in not truly what should be or is.

Sick of the media promotions.

True Top 5:
Baylor
Clemson
Utah
TCU
Ohio St

Utah beat Michigan and Oregon. Oregon isn't great but they

Oct 11, 2015, 5:27 PM

have the best resume right now.

Trying to take off my Orange-tinted glasses, my top 10, based on resumes and how they're playing right now (and who I'd be worried about playing), would be:

1. Utah: Best resume
2. Baylor: Haven't played anybody but haven't come close to losing
3. OSU: Haven't played anybody and lucky to be undefeated
4. Clemson: Starting to put it all together on O and D
5. TCU: Lucky to be undefeated part 2
6. LSU: Fournette is a beast and their QB is starting to put it together but the Defense is surprisingly mediocre
7. Mich St: Lucky to be undefeated part 3
8. Florida: I don't think the Old Mrs. win is as big as some but they're playing well right now and have the benefit of being in the terrible SEC East
9. FSU: They're going to drop at least 1 game this year
10. Michigan: The best 1-loss team (Yes, including Bama and Old Mrs.); Nobody is playing better D than Michigan now; they're an opening-weekend loss from being top 3

I didn't want to put Clemson so high but I honestly think we have fewer question marks than everyone I put behind us

With the exception of OSU, I think your list is right. OSU just hasn't gotten it together. I think if their pieces start clicking they will be a force, but it hasn't happened yet so I can't justify the #3 ranking.

Utah's big win is Mich. Mich is for real three straight shut

outs. We have a pretty good D but can't come close to shutting out anyone

Utah's big win over Oregon looks worse and worse each week, but their win over Michigan looks better and better each week. Michigan has outscored their opponents 160-14 in 5 games since playing Utah (3 shutouts in a row - Including against BYU and Northwestern who aren't world beaters but they aren't pushovers either).

Baylor hasn't played anyone but they have been handling business, so you can't fault them for that.

Ohio State, TCU, Michigan State, and LSU being in front of us (depending on the poll) are built in biases as opposed to results.

Being 5 or 6 right now isn't that big of an issue to me. The way teams are playing, I would say we are probably between 1 and 5. As long as we keep winning, we will get the respect we deserve. I actually expected to hear more excuse making for Notre Dame than I heard, and I was pleased to hear our win over GT described as "convincing" by multiple sources.
