I'll be surprised if he gets more than 75 yds Saturday.

No he’s not, but he’s still a really really good back. If we hold him to 75 yards, the defense will have had an exceptional day.

Not that it necessarily applies to this year or this team, but he's never made over 50 against us yet.

11 carries for 7 yards last year (their highest RB only had 17 yards)
12 carries for 40 yards in 2017

He's a great back.. just has 0 support or line to make him look like dalvin.

Akers is as good as Cook in my opinion with the ball in his hands. Dalvin cook had a QB, capable receivers, and an OL. Akers broke his record freshmen year and last year had the worst OL since statistics started being tracked averaging contact .22 yards after receiving a hand off while playing hurt all year. If you sleep on Akers he will absolutely make you pay.

Akers is pretty danggood IMO...

He just doesn't have the supporting cast that Cook had; especially on the OL. Although, the FSU OL wasn't anything to write home about when Cook was playing.

He's good. He's better than the UNC guys. Or any RBs we've faced this year. I was a bit surprised to hear them say he is the best we will face this year with AJ Dillon coming up later. I don't think I could say Akers is better than Dillon....but he's a good'un.

Akers is easily better than Dillon. Dillon isn't consistent, Akers was top 5 overall for a reason coming out of HS.
