INSIDE INTEL-QB POSITION

Does anyone know from the inside how the QB job is supposed to pan out not including injury or transfer? I know Cooper is supposed to be the guy to start the year, but I'm doing the math on Johnson and Lawrence and I don't see enough years to give both of those guys the starring role I'm sure they are expecting with their rankings. Let me know...

Kelly Bryant will go into the Spring as the number 1 QB. After that,the starter will earn his position.

That definitely fits Dabo's formula from the past with the whole Cole/Deshaun deal, but it seems like at least from the outside, there isn't trust with Bryant throwing the football. I'm hoping they make a tough call in the spring if they already know there's better options passing.

got the answer from the head coach.

Bryant will start the spring as first string QB.

Too many other things MAY happen, but that's the answer.

We probably do have better passers, but you to win the game.

We'll all just have to wait.

I get that, and I have made simular statements.
BUT!!!
if the staff's evaluation is correct (new commers)
Its going be hard keeping the new guys off the field.
Outside of Watson/Boyd...we've never, never HAD anyone
like em.

Best case scenario for all quarterbacks to maybe be happy is for Kelly Bryant to switch to a receiver IF he doesn't hold Zerrick Cooper off. And not to redshirt Hunter Johnson (assuming Zerrick doesn't stay for 5 years). And I'm gonna assume that Israel transfers and Brice redshirts. And the hardest decision would be to redshirt Lawrence. Not likely but it makes a ton of sense. It spaces things out. JUST A PREDICTION THOUGH...

I would love the redshirt idea too, but with the #1 player in the country that better be really clear to him when selling the plan. Don't need him running back to GA unhappy!
