I mean, he's the coach and makes the final call, but kinda wish he would have sent the 3 back to campus and re-address after the weekend.
Dabo already said Cain (frankly don't care about the other 2, they're multi-offenders who should be done, I would say the same if this applied to Cain) is done for this season.
Cain was a huge part of this teams success.
Could argue team would not be in this spot without him.
Just wish Dabo would have re-addressed once the emotions die down, and then decide if that kids one mistake warrants him missing the freaking CHAMPIONSHIP game.
Dabo is consistent with his punishment so I'm not surprised and more discipline is better than not enough discipline, but man oh man wish we had Cain !!!!!

the NCAA did the drug testing and the rule is he has to sit out first half of next season..that is if he keeps his nose clean. Rule used to be an entire season but was changed in 2012 to half a season

AL got 3 game suspension and had to work his way back on the field. Don't see why it shouldn't be the same for DC.

Never heard whether or not it was a Clemson test or an NCAA test. Second regardless Heck No he shouldn't play. Bad decisions should not be rewarded. Learn from your mistakes and do better.

1 game suspensions do happen. He would have to pass a drug test which would look fishy but possible to do without cheating it if he did smoke a hit just before break. 5% chance he plays, would be huge. All the people saying no chance don't know 100 percent what he did, it's not like he Boykined. Chance it could have been curfew or alcohol in the hotel room.

He will have a 2-3 game suspension (Lakip, Watkins) with one game now already served.
Sure WISH he was playing vs Bama though.

I think he should play . He's a huge part of our offense.
And it does matter who did the drug test. If NCAA, ok.. But if Clemson, what are you thinking? Can't see Alabama administering their own drug test before a national championship.
And to all those who say Cain needs to get his life together, obviously you know nothing about Life, college football, or sports in general.
You know how many players smoke marijuana in the NFL, in college, AT Clemson?
I see players ( yes Clemson players) smoking all the time. Even before they left for Miami. On snapchat and all.
I want to know if they randomed certain people, who have failed before. Or did they testeverybody. If so, some players slipped through the cracks.
I beleive you all know Deandre Hopkins and Sammy Watkins. Those names ring a bell? Yea, I'll leave it there
