I kept thinking the entire time leading up to the game that it would be really tough to come out of College Station with the W and I would take a W in any way shape or form that it would come. The weaknesses of our team were exposed against a quality opponent early in the season and we still got the win on the road in front of 105K. I will take that any day. We know what we have to work on and at the end of the day, well you know, we won.

I may be giving too much credit to TAMU, but they played really well. We didn't play "bad" overall. Getting out of College Station with a win is not something to "complain" about, however Clemson is at that level to where we fans are going to be extremely critical of our play in "tough/ugly wins"............this was far from a panic button win IMO
this was nothing compared to the feeling I had after the 2011 wofford game where we won like 35-30......or something like that....then we went on to win the ACC.

I'm not sure if my memory is serving me right, but I think this is the year we beat USCjr and the students tore down the goal posts after the game. USCjr finished 1-10 and we finished 3-8, and you'd think we'd won the NC. I was actually in the stadium and saw the whole thing. It was pretty darn funny at the time (in my 20s), but I'd probably find it more embarrassing now. It does go to show how serious the rivalry is though. Oh yeah, and I think that was possibly the final incident that lead to the installation of the goal posts that fold down.

Clemson Vs Notre Dame 2015 could be argued. We were out gained by 140 yards at home and it was a tight game had the rain not helped out with 4 turnovers who knows how it would've ended.

as for A&M, I think they are a LOT better team then the preseason "experts" predicted ! That A&M QB-Receiver combo is incredible. How many times did that QB manage to make something out of nothing ?
Look for A&M to beat Alabama in two weeks. Would not be surprised to see a rematch with them in the playoffs !
