Question for Clemson fan

Sep 18, 2015, 12:35 PM

Those of you who went to game last night where in Louisville did you stay?
Also if you had enough time to site see where did you go and/or where did you eat? Where did you end up parking and tailgating? Unless you flew many who went to the game are probably still traveling back so I know many might not be able to answer this yet.

Yep, we stayed at the Sheraton down the road last night. We ate breakfast at Wild Eggs in downtown yesterday. It was absolutely delicious. After that we walked around near the river and then went to the Evan Williams Experience. It was great. Lots of history and good bourbon. For lunch, we went to Jack Fry's. Again, delicious. Then we headed to Churchill Downs until the game.
We sat in the middle of a Cards section and everyone was nothing but nice. Great town and great people!

Since I live only a couple of hours away, I definitely plan to return with my kids to tour the town more.

We stayed at the Super 8 about a 5 min walk to the stadium. It was awful. Would not stay there again. Hung out at Churchill Downs before the game. Stopped at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville to take a few selfies inside. Ate at the birth place of KFC. We toured the Louisville Slugger Museum this morning. All in all great trip, hotel sucked but location and price were good

Lots of Clemson fans at the Galt House. Fans at Churchill Downs and Louisville Slugger tour. Some people doing distillery tours. All reports are wonderful!

Please take this thread back to the Louisville Boards.

You did yourself proud!

Losses are tough, but your fans were great!

I had a Clemson fan sit in my section and he was sitting with a guy in South Carolina Gamecock jersey. I wasn't expecting that.

Sounds about right. The Gamecocks are obsessed with us so much that they will travel to our away games just to troll us.
