Question about Clemson tickets and Digital Ticketing Service

Nov 7, 2012, 12:42 PM

If I buy tickets from somebody and we exchange money for (physical) tickets, how do I make sure that they haven't transferred the tickets to somebody else through the Digital Ticketing Service?

I know this is probably a newb question, but I haven't been back to a game since this service started and want to make sure I'm not getting suckered on a ticket purchase.

Digital Ticketing Service. They would be selling you tickets they knew could be traced drectly back to them. They would have to be pretty stupid to do that.

If you are exchanging cash for physical tickets, there is no change in the possibility of fraud with the new ticketing system. The tickets could be previously transferred or counterfeit.

However, if you are buying from the original season ticket holder, you could request that the tickets be electronically transferred to you. That should increase your level of confidence that you are purchasing valid tickets.

Best way that I know to be sure that you're purchasing legit tickets is to only purchase from sellers who have been registered on T-net for many years, and who have a record of clean ticket transactions. Just don't buy from someone who just registered a new username on T-net.

Actually stubhub is the best way. They are all digital for Clemson home game tickets.
