Update : she has been upgraded from loved to spoiled in one day. She already has domain over the bed

Those are fantastic dogs. Will you hunt with her?

I had an Italian Wirehaired Pointer for several years. I got her as an adult rescue and tried to teach her to bird hunt but she was horribly gun-shy. Best dog I've ever had, by far, but dang are they expensive. I don't know that I could get one that isn't a rescue.

I’m getting Drahthaar.

She’s going to start hunting with me and she also shows which is why she wanted a GWP. We’re going to do a lot of duck hunting and probably get into some quail out in western Oklahoma.

Have you looked for specialty rescue groups? A lot of breeds will have a specialty group somewhere. We are fosters for Setters and German short and wire-haired pointers.
