Proxy server?

Like I posted the other day I've been cutoff from Tnet at work. Someone mentioned using proxy servers to get around it. I know nothing about them. If someone could give me the instructions (I'm pretty basic on computers so make them simple) I'd appreciate it.

IF your work is blocking site categories then their utilities are likely sophisticated enough to see you are using a proxy and could end up in even more trouble. Easiest thing to do is to download Teamviewer.com at home and note the ID pass code. Download it at work and connect to your home PC and browse tnet from there via TeamViewer. If you were ever asked about teamviewer you simply say it's your way to access your home pc from work. No harm.

Teamviewer is free for personal use.

Even Java updates have to be downloaded by IT. Any other ideas?

I suggest you perform the work you are payed for
and get on Tigernet after work.Give the company
what they are due.
