Dabo is a fine recruiter. The problem is that

A) We don't recruit tough players
B) We don't develop tough players enough to truly make a difference in the trenches against great teams.

Danny made them tough because the NCAA did not have limits on the frequency and duration of practices. He would often get to the end of practice and make them start all over from the begining

Our Oline did a good job this year for being so young...

only bad game they had was against SCU, and that was due more to Chad Morris play calling than the Oline.

We do not have a problem with recruiting.Nor much of anything else! see 20 wins in 2 years. People need to get a grip!

Danny Ford ain't coming back in any capacity, and I highly..

doubt he wants to have some type of job on the coaching staff. Danny's time is over, accept it and move on.

Probably need to get NCAA clearance for that one***

Coach Ford was great...but 18 year olds won't know a thing

Dec 11, 2012, 7:48 AM

about him....unless they grew up in a Clemson family.

If you're gonna hire a recruiter - hire Dawkins...or Kirkland.

Danny was a great recruiter in his time because he focused on it and had asst. coaches that were also focused. and a lot of his success was that coaches around him (Dooley(UGA), Morrison(USC), Crum(UNC)) didn't take the same approach. He was ahead of his time. Today, Danny's recruiting technique is SOP for southern college football.
