Did you guys see that...She's pathetic...One of the happiest times for a recruit and she decides to walkout on him because he didnt pick the school she wanted...I feel bad for the guy...Kinda glad Clemson backed off on this guy.

Such a sad moment for him, you could see he was shocked and embarrassed. Fortunately she came back later and hugged him but by then the moment was lost. For a parent to do something like that implies they may have a financial investment in the decision.

She more than likely wanted him to commit to bama. I’m glad he decided to not be a groupie. I felt that bama backed off of Copeland some anyway because they thought they were gonna get Ross. Guess that didn’t work out too well for them. So Copeland basically chose the school that wanted him since day 1...eff bama...

Gotta believe that was something more than because of the school he picked because he actually stayed in state. I'm wondering if Bama promised her that payday. Pretty much when someone makes a dumb decision like she just made, it's almost always because of money.

Man, what a selfish jerk she is. She made it a point to make a big statement about HER by not just walking out but by walking out in between him and the cameras and putting him on the spot like that. That is disgraceful. Poor kid. She has no idea and apparently no concern for how that affects a young man, even one that's 18 or so. Way to ruin your son's big day. Shameful.

Not to excuse her behavior, but I always wonder if there is more to the story. For instance, I wonder if there were any shady offerings from the coaches/school he committed to and she was merely being protective.
Still wouldn't have walked off...kinda strange.
