Should have protected him from a non contact injury

Nov 15, 2014, 7:15 PM

The only way to do that is to sit him on the sideline.

You do realize both injuries were on running plays....

Nov 15, 2014, 7:17 PM

And the first injury was on contact.

Non Contact injury on a cut he's made 1 million times

Nov 15, 2014, 7:19 PM

He's a dual threat QB. We recruited him because he can run and throw. He was a 5* QB because of this ability.

different team. Watson will have to run. I say we find every available pad and strap it to him...two helmets just to be safe...

What options do we have when our WR aren't open

Nov 15, 2014, 7:29 PM

and our Oline can't make holes for our RBs? Watson was picking up those yards because other guys were covered. Otherwise he would have been crushed at or behind the line of scrimmage.

Would you agree that injury would not have happened......

Nov 15, 2014, 7:25 PM [ in reply to Non Contact injury on a cut he's made 1 million times ]

If he wasn't running on that play?

Re: Would you agree that injury would not have happened......

Nov 15, 2014, 7:26 PM

but he was hurt on a play where he wasn't even tackled

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He could have just as easily broken his hand on a sack

Nov 15, 2014, 7:20 PM [ in reply to You do realize both injuries were on running plays.... ]

or from smacking it off a helmet no a follow throw.

The best way is to have an O line that can protect him and a

running back to carry the ball. Watson had neither.
