BECAUSE IT NEEDED SAID DEPT. Called WCCP(clemson) & let them know I do not need to hear THEM say-n "PULLED A CLEMSON" - Now a few years ago West Va. did a number on Clemson & sometimes they HAVE been upsept & some people gleefully try to say"PULLED A CLEMSON" (why would our local sportscasters buy into this).BUT in my opinion >>When you lay 45 or more points on a team-- when you keep a team under 20 points and beat them by 21-28 points -- when you upset teams the national media expected to beat you [esp SEC teams] THAT'S "THE NEW PULLING A CLEMSON
I know that it's said purely to annoy us Clemson folk. Still, I still fume any time I hear it.
Did South Carolina "pull a SCAR" in 2011 when they lost to Auburn? How about when they lost to Kentucky in 2010, Tennesee in 2009, or Vanderbilt in 2008 and 2007?
SCU did it when they beat Bama and lost to UK the next

week...That is the true definition...Beating someone you shouldn't and then losing to someone you shouldn't...Most people who say it are using it incorrectly...
