a spokesman in the Governor's office as being misworded.

The spokesman said the late June reference was to a possible return by the General Assembly upon a call from the Governor, and that they expect S.C. business to be resumed well before that.

Sources here indicate there was a loud uproar from businesses across the state into the Governor's office after the letter was released, which prompted the clarification.

My FB is blowing up with concerned citizens, small business owners, and even some coots. For us "essential" employees it is business as usual sprinkled in with a bit of home office. I suspect May 15th will trigger some easing of shelter in place and modified work versus May 1st. That's still better than the end of June and provides hope for the start of summer football practice, knowing that each states response and peak is different.

Once we all get our three month supply of Hydrochloroquine and Zinc tablets then we will reopen SC and not a day sooner.
