That's a loaded question.

Sep 18, 2014, 10:54 AM

That's like me asking you which option would you prefer happen if someone broke into your house

Kill your son or kill your daughter?

Uhhh how bout option C being neither and a better outcome?

Sep 18, 2014, 10:46 AM

You're really good forming the options to your argument's advantage lol.....

How about:

What's BEST to avoid?

Choosing to Receive, getting stopped by the FSU D, the crowd gets very loud and McGuire has confidence.

Choosing to Defer, We have a 7 point lead and get the ball at the half

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

no... you guys are getting it wrong... I'm not arguing

Sep 18, 2014, 10:48 AM

either..

I'm saying... if one of these two were going to happen, which do you avoid the most.

We are down 17-10 at half .... and then

Sep 18, 2014, 11:14 AM

win the game 41-20 after Winston throws two picks and a fumble as a result of a broken collarbone, shattered ribs and a concussion from a simultaneous hit by Beasley and Jarrett.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

In one situation we're down 7 points and

Sep 18, 2014, 11:22 AM

in the other situation we're ahead by 7 points. You obviously want to avoid the situation where you're losing, regardless of what point in the game it is.

But this is a stupid poll. Why are you taking the worst-case scenario for deferring, while taking a relatively good scenario for receiving and trying to compare the two. Why didn't you take the worst-case scenario for receiving to start the game, as well?
