Is Feister our Dalvin Cook type slash-speed type runner?

Nov 4, 2016, 12:35 PM

Saying..love Gallman but would love a RB that can turn on the burner even more than Train.

PS: thanks Wayne for all you've accomplished at & for Clemson!

I haven't seen it yet TBH

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Sheesh...I don't know bro. Were you watching the game?

Nov 4, 2016, 12:45 PM [ in reply to Feister is faister than Cook.*** ]

Honestly he is the only player since Spiller that I was just in awe watching. Just has another gear that nobody else on the field has.

I haven't seen anything close to that from Feaster...yet, anyway.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Huh? We're talking about Feister right now***

We will find out next year. Even if he doesnt start he will play alot. He looks promising from the small sample we have seen.

how could we even know?***

Well...

Nov 4, 2016, 1:15 PM

Feaster was all-region in track from eighth grade through his senior year.

He was all-state all four of years in high school.

He was named AAAA Track Athlete of the Year as a sophomore and junior

He was a four-year region champion and the state champion in the 100-meter dash and 200 as a sophomore and junior

He currently holds the state record in the 200 at 21.11, and 100-meter best was 10.42

In track & field, Cook recorded a personal-best time of 22.10 seconds in the 200-meter dash at the 2013 Sam Burley Invitational, where he placed 13th. That's nearly a whole second slower than Feaster.

In the 100-meter finals of the 2013 GMAC North Qualifier, Cook ran a 10.92 to earn a fifth-place finish; a half-second slower than Feaster.

How do you know he's faster than Cook, if you've never seen him play significant snaps on the college level? You don't know lol.

Here's one way....

We will never know till our coaches give him a chance

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Thank goodness they didn't give him that chance on the play

Nov 4, 2016, 12:50 PM

where Gallman picked up a critical block on a pass play to Jordan Legatt.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

yeah we really dodged a bullet there...I'm glad they didn't

Nov 4, 2016, 12:57 PM

trot him out there to attempt that 46 yard FG too

Nov 4, 2016, 1:02 PM

and some adjust faster than others. I think he resembles Spiller more than Cook. Let's be patient with him, and let's hope he is a patient young man.

Re: Is Feister our Dalvin Cook type slash-speed type runner?

Nov 4, 2016, 1:14 PM

Not unless he can put on 20-25 lbs. without losing speed or quickness. If he stays more or less the same size as he is now, I think Spiller is a better comparison.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Cook would start just about anywhere in country..

Nov 4, 2016, 1:18 PM

Feaster can't get on depth chart at RB, KR or PR.

Give Mr Cook his due, he is very good.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He has showed great speed in his run against bc

Nov 4, 2016, 1:20 PM

But there's no comparison between Feaster and Dalvin Cook as of right now. Cook reminds me of Spiller with the 0-60 in 4 seconds and the cutting ability they both have. Only thing Cook doesnt have that Spiller was able to do is just make defenders look absolutely stupid with the juking and defenders diving at air. We'll never see another rb like that in Clemson. I love Wayne but to think that Cook was our's before he decomitted makes me wonder what if. Wayne and Cook would have been another thunder and lightning

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Cook can run through you and past you. Feast needs lbs added

Nov 4, 2016, 1:26 PM

And different mindset. He could be another Stephone Anthony where the talent doesn't shine til Junior year which looks like the road Ray Ray is on even though he has flashes. Just goes to show what work ethic will do if you look at Hunter Renfrow

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

NO FARMERS NO FOOD

Feister will be the best Jewish rb to play at Clemson***

Feaster's time will come. I expect we will see some highlight reel runs from him over the next several years.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Hearing we may be seeing Mr Feister next 4 games..

Nov 4, 2016, 4:56 PM

So to be able to use in upcoming BiG Games as needed (speed, quick strike, etc).

He certainly may, but remember it too Ellington

Nov 4, 2016, 5:44 PM

a while to mature. I think Feister "gets it" and understands that he has to continue to work to get on the field......and no doubt he will.
