Old family memories come and go this time of year

My mom, dad and aunt sitting around after Thanksgiving dinner with some drinks - my aunt would ask me to fix her a "stiff one" which meant scotch and a little ice, but no water. Good 50 years ago at least, but I remember it like yesterday.

I think I'll fix me a "stiff one". RIP to my mom, dad and aunt. I miss them all.

Happy Thanksgiving, again.

don't mean much to me anymore. My parents are gone and others are out of my life.

But I'm still going to eat and drink. :)

Different times and different memories - we had a small dinner, son who is now at work (#### retail job), nephew who is getting a divorce from a cheating wife, Mama G and a neighbor who recently lost her husband - we had good food and a great time.

Quiet now, but after cooking all day, I am relaxing, watching football and sipping a scotch.

Leftovers, at least another piece of pie, coming later.

I am with you my man. Hard time of year. Basically everyone my age has their parents and take them for granted. To the people who have both or maybe even one, cherish every moment. Mend fences and say I Love You often.
