Breaking news: Oakland raiders in position to draft Watkins
Mar 21, 2014, 10:46 AM
|
|
The raiders traded a late round pick for QB Matt Schaub from the Texas. Which would mean they are not going to draft a QB now. 3 of the top picks in front of them really need a QB and then someone is bound to take the clown.
I think they take Sammy with the #5 pick.
It could he worse. He could go to Jacksonville or Cleveland. Living in SoCal with a great contract.

If they draft him on what he did vs the drunk chickens the last three years he will go undrafted...and Boyd too.

Looking like that's who they will go with. DUnno what St. Louis will go with yet, I've seen projections for Sammy and OTs mostly

if the old man were still alive and running things but IMO Oakland has a front office staff now that understands today's game. It might take a year or two because of the mess they inherited, but the Raiders are going to get back to what they used to be sooner rather than later. Their GM Reggie McKenzie learned the trade under two of the best, Ron Wolf and Ted Thompson in Green Bay. He pretty much had his hands tied last year with salary cap problems and the fact that the organization traded away most of it's 2012 draft picks.

where people who have no business getting drafted that high get drafted. Seriously, name one player between Charles Woodson and Darren McFadden who should have been picked where they were?
