Dont worry Dabo will give him a call......

Jun 14, 2012, 7:46 PM

and everything will be fine. Any network affiliated with the sec is in shock right now so they are trying to spin this any way possible. Here is a more accurate video

I seriously doubt with his HS coach in attendance a call

Jun 14, 2012, 7:47 PM

Wasn't made to his dad. I'm sure pops was fully aware.

I'm not worried about Nkemdiche's dad swaying him toward Alabama. He's a doctor. He doesn't need Alabama's money like many recruits' parents.

This parent thing is always over played....its all bout the player. Ahmad Fulwood's mom wanted him to play at Clemson instead of UF....where did he go? UF. D.J. Reader's dad wanted him to go to Maryland...where did he go? Clemson. It's all about the player, Parents should support the kid not direct.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

ummm, you left off the best one

Jun 14, 2012, 8:22 PM

spiller's mom wanted UF. well, we know the rest

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Wasn't there

Jun 14, 2012, 8:31 PM

a DB last year who went to Alabama but his mom publicly said (right after he'd announced, on TV no less)she'd rather he went to LSU?

Clemson

Well, after all, it is CBS, the SEC network. No one

Jun 14, 2012, 7:57 PM

should be surprised.

So, is SCAR a traditional power because they are in the SEC, therefore getting Clowney was not surprising? But Clemson getting the number one player in the country (for the second time in the last six years) is surprising and won't last because we are in the the ACC?

Complete horse$hit!!

IIRC, his dad said it was his son's decision....

Jun 14, 2012, 7:57 PM

...and he would support that decision.

Did Steve Spurrier write that article? Geez.***

notice they say the ACC first #1 overall since 2003

Jun 14, 2012, 8:36 PM

Didn't FSU land #1 last yr with Edwards and Clemson 2008 with Bowers

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Per ESPN:

Jun 14, 2012, 8:55 PM

"This is the second time that Clemson has landed the No. 1 player in the country. In the 2008 class, the Tigers landed defensive end Da'Quan Bowers, who is now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers."

Maybe Dabo can instruct CBS, ESPN, and the rest...

Jun 14, 2012, 8:58 PM

...of the SEC pumpers on the meaning of commitment. They are obviously thinking the SEC type of commitment - the one way variety.
