My opinion would depend on when the grandfather got cancer?
If he had it before Ford went to UGA it would make sense to deny the appeal.

Coot, you are stupid?! You know cancer progresses, it gets worse with time. Maybe the prognosis changed. For you to even type that you should be banned!
No way Belk should have been given elligibility especially when he only got like 45min closer, only because he hired a lawyer. How did that work out?
Fields reasoning is total BS at O310! Because he was threatened, well his sister didn't run scared from her schollie on the VBall team. He never heard the baseball player even say it considered the stands to the field is a long ways away. It wouldn't have been even known except for Social Media dumbchits!!
The Martell guy had "NO" excuses for his move from O310 to the U except that UM left. So that afforded him immediate elligibility, when in reality he didn't want to compete with Fields!
This whole NCAA transfer portalet crap is starting to #### me off! It should be sit a year across the board unless you are a graduate. The school that recruited you spents thousands on Officiial Visits, travel to local visits, at least one semester of cost for education, housing, training, etc., but the main thing is they prevented another student from maybe going to their dream school.
If a recruit commits and recruiter or HC leaves before freshman season starts then let that student transfer but after that, sit one year unless graduate. No gray areas, prevents all this nonsense!

I can't believe what i just read! The only reason they give for denial is the school is outside the 100mi radius, but the school is only like 20mi or less, with no other P5 school in that radius.

NCAA is full of dumb a$$es. It was okay for Belk to transfer because his mommy had a tummy ache and okay for Fields to transfer because he got called a word yet his sister still goes to uga and the guys who said the word was dismissed from uga. NCAA is a really bad joke. They choose when they want to do the right thing or not and it’s not right. They should do right by the players all of the time or none of the time.

And 2 current Tigers passed a Lie Detector test that they had no idea where the ostarine came from and it wasn't even considered in the decision.
The NCAA needs to be taken down and down hard! There are enough players that have been wronged, that a class action suit could filed on behalf of all them.
