I saw that. The Nebraska glory years died with the Big 8 (or Big 2, little 6, as it should have been known). Kicking 6 weak teams yearly, then facing Oklahoma once a year was their recipe for success. You can't turn back the clock, Nebraska is just another midwest Ohio State wannabe now.

I think the biggest take away from that is Oklahoma finally wanting to break free of Texas.

I kinda like it and would love to see the renewal of Nebraska-Oklahoma rivalry. I think Nebraska is more like a Big 12 team and West Virginia is more suitable in the Big 10.

Nebraska needs Texas recruiting. Access to big time players is gradually drying up. The conference members would all be smart to let the GOR run out in 5 years, reconstitute and leave Texas out. Then leave space to add Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin in a few years.
