was a total disappoint in first year or two, then shined liked Devoe. Kudos to the young man for persevering. What a great last few games he had.

not sure they were as highly acclaimed coming in as Devoe, but I'm not great at recalling hsoops recruiting rankings, seems like we've had more pleasant surprises than major disappoints, as far as initial recruiting rankings go.

elite schools offered him but yea, awesome how he improved this year.
The first 3 years, he was a shooter only without the ability to create his own shot.
This year and specifically the last few weeks, he became an awesome one on one player also with the ability to take players off the dribble.

in HS, maybe his HS acclaim outstripped his recruiting ranking. But he came in with a big reputation as a scorer, which didn't show up much till this year, and with a big finish after that little slump.
