Oh well, if that's the case, then too bad. I was kinda' hoping for the subtle "flash" of the chrome helmets to shake things up a bit, what with the media and national attention and the "significance" of the game to Tiger fans, especially to the old-timers like myself. As a design professional, a conservative, and a 45 year long Tiger, I personally like the chrome helmets. However, I think it would be most appropriate if we came out in the same uniforms we wore in 1977, you know, just to finish the job, ala Steve Fuller and DW4, et al.

...tear-away jerseys back in those days. AND there is simply no comparing the uniform and pads from 1977 to the stuff they wear today...nothing. I promise you don't want to go back to the old stuff.

I think we'll be just fine in the gear they have now.
