Do you think we are better than the 4 teams in front of us? Thats what the polls are for, ranking the best teams from 1 to 25. Why would it matter if we won if there are other teams that are playing and look better than us?

Ummm....because they are good, and play like a top 5 team. Look at the scores you posted.

The only good football team Michigan has played they beat 14-7 . They are not better than Clemson , and I hope we get the chance to prove it .

the moment. The reason we are not higher, and I think it's legit, is because we struggled so in a few games. If we win out, it won't matter; I think we're in the playoff. I think we could even withstand a close loss to FSU, still win the ACC, and get in. These polls don't matter as much as they used to, and hey, we're #3 and #4; we're in good shape anyway.
I don't know how the loss will affect NCST menatally and how they will respond, but I think they are a ### good football team. They are very well coached, had a great gameplan against us, and I think they could sneak into the top 25 before all is said and done, which will make that win look better for us.
Our challenge is clear - cut out the boneheaded mistakes. It will eventually kill us if we don't. If we do, we should win out and where we are ranked today won't mean a thing.

I know you saw game on Saturday. Own it. We will stumble into playoffs if we can beat FSU in 2 weeks any way.

Not really
Auburn winning record road win Troy will be 11-1 Louisville. Top ten win NC STATE winning record team OT win
The rest if we finish FSU top 20 road win PITT Winning record win ACC champ against a top 10 team
I think we are getting spoiled.
Sure we played poorly but escaped

We turned the ball over 4 times; 3 in the red zone, don't turn it over and that's a minimum of 9 points. The game of "if's" goes both ways.

obligatory ranking in the last few spots based solely on the name on their jersey. And it allows the Team SEC morons to crow about having 8 in the top 25. 6 of those teams are ranked 15 or lower.
I bet if you really pressed the pollsters to explain how UF, Arky, UT, Auburn, Ole Miss, or LSU are any better than Colorado, Miami, OK St, Wazzu, VT, and USF, they'd be unable to cite any concrete superiority.
Thank god we've taken SOME of this idiotic subjectivity out of determining who the national champion is.

in the polls but obviously it is.
It's definitely a beauty contest in the eyes of the voters.
Thankfully it's ultimately up to the committee and the poll voters have absolutely zero say in the matter.
