Anybody else ever go to a NASCAR race, sit there for 6 hours, and not see a single race car take a lap? Anybody know how many skinny redneck men there are at a NASCAR race wearing a wife-beater tee-shirt, carrying a 6-pack of beer in their shoulder cooler, walking around with a fat tatted-up woman with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth? Well I counted them while trucks kept trying to dry the track after each 5 minute rain shower and there were exactly 27,634 men fitting that description at Charlotte Motor Speedway that day.

I was a huge nascar fan up until a few years ago... never liked the chase, but got over it... then when they added another round of gimmicks... resetting points 4x, resetting the race (stages).. trying to manufacture artificial excitement, I just lost interest. I really loved it the way it was... just racing.
