My take on a new contract for dabo

Lets give him 3-4 year extension. No 8 year crap.

He makes around 2.2 right now... Lets up him t 2.5 or 2.75 max. No more than that.

Keep the buyout as low as possible. If we lose to SC next year we may have to cash in that all in chip.

he's due! so he can keep our program going the right direction!!!
we give to him & he'll obviously give back! he deserves it...& the Dabo contractors need to sulk away elsewhere for awhile & let us true tiger supporters enjoy this HUGE win!!!

GO TIGERS!!! AWESOME GAME & Defensive display...Offense pounded away until we won it & never gave up :-D

The committment is both ways........you might actually hope for it being longer . He wants his boys to be able to finish high school here and you certainly don't ever have to worry about him getting complacent. The best way to build a premier program is to have a long term coach. He has proven to me that he loves his place here......we better hope we can keep him 8 years. IMHO

I hope you appreciate the integrity of Clemson and the value added by Dabo to that along with increased revenue.

Frankly, I don't have a problem with paying him on a scale reflective of what he pays his coordinators. I'll agree with the 4 year extension though I don't think 5 years would be unreasonable.

Actually, we should worry more about keeping him than buying his contract out.
