My surprise picks for game MVP honors

On Aug 31st!! This may or may not surprise you, but....

Other than Tajh (a given) having a banner day, here are my choices for MVP honors come game day:

Offensive: Rod McDowell. As pasd coverage drops back to stop the offensive air assault...Chad is going to turn Hot Rod loose!

Defensive: Travis Blanks. Moving him back to safety is going to prive huge. Aaron Murray will get some, that is a given, but Blanks being very intelligent, physical and free to roam the secondary?? Aaron Murray ain't going deep on Blanks. Just not gonna happen!!

What say you???

I believe Tajh and Sammy have a great game, but Hot Rod shows us the full view of all his flashes of greatness.

As for Blanks, he might be the best defensive player we have. I also expect Grady Jarrett to be important (but not as flashy). Vic should have a good game, too.

year, in this game! i'm not sure they have seen his speed and quickness coming off the edge, including clowney. if vic can carry the additional 10-15 lbs they want him too, he will become a freakish pass rushing d.e. and not give up a whole lot against the run. if, is a big two letter word,though.
