accomplish by leaving him in the game, with him taking the hits that he kept taking. Made absolutely no sense and gave no consideration to him, his personal safety and well being, team morale, nor to the second string QB, who had to be wondering exactly what had to happen for him to get a chance to play.

If the best thing that can be said for your qb is he’s tough and can take a lick and go back in then that’s not a glowing compliment. I agree he hasn’t had a great situation but the only thing positive I’ve ever heard about him is he’s tough.

He put some passes on the money yesterday that his WRs and RBs just dropped. Couple that with being totally hung out to dry by his OL and there’s no way anyone would succeed.

He’s not mentally in the same world as DW or TL. But I have no doubt that he could have been significantly better in better circumstances.

that he isn't a very accurate passer.

It might be that he can't get in sync because he never knows when he's going to take another vicious hit.

It could also be that I'm spoiled from watching Lawrence and Brice thread needles with so many of their throws. There's a huge difference.

I think the hits have affected him, and that is why he is not as accurate. Reminds me of David Carr when he went into the NFL and got treated like a rag doll until he no longer resembled a QB.

That's the same reason why the Texans need to get DW some protection before they train bad habits into him. Otherwise, his career will not live up the amazing potential he already shown.
